I need a glass top!

I'm looking for a glass top for a 55 gal all glass. I dont want anything expensive cause I'm switching to a 90 gal within the next few months. If anyone has anything to get me by till then please let me know.

Thanks

Is there any particular reason you want to go with glass? Most people remove glass tops for better ventilation. You can use plastic egg crate to keep jumpers in and still get light penetration and keep tank temps down.

I never thought of an egg crate. I want to keep evaporation down. I dont have anything that will jump. I was also told that my lights shouldnt be over open water. I guess I'm just excited about my new lights. I just bought the lunar aqualights. My mushrooms and polyps have been living under normal outputs.

Evaporation is good in warm weather. It helps keep the tank cooler. Not keeping lights over open water is for safety sake. You definately wouldn't want them to fall in the water. If you cut the eggcrate to fit the lip of the tank it will keep the lights from falling in but regardless I suggest that the lights be secure in their mounting. I've read on more than one occasion of someone accidentially knocking their lights into the tank while working in the tank. The worst part is they usually have their hands in the water at the time. That could be a disaster.
