Can someone tell us if this fish store is ok with frag trades going on in their shop?

I will bring some stuff- zoas, and toadstool leathers are ready to go. Might frag a few more things before then. And those people that PMed me about the hammer coral will be getting that as well

Question: I don't wanna have to drive home before the meeting since that would be a PITA. It should be ok to have my corals bagged up and in a cooler sitting at work, right? I can always bring the ebo jag to keep em warm. I figured it wouldn't be any more traumatic than shipping corals.

They will be fine Gwen, corals can take upwards of 30 hours to reach the US from Indonesia. Sitting under your desk at work is going to bit a bit less stressful.

mmm toadstool leather sounds good. I also can bring some really pretty red purple green zpas that are growing out of control.

I totally forgot about having to ask to see if they would mind. Is it alright if I call and ask or should that be the big guys deal?

hey just wondering how well does your hammer grow under PC. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from seacrop and a hammer being one of them, I reasearced it and it should grow but you never know..

this is a little off the topic, but how come the meetings are on tuesday night and not the weekends? I ask because I recently joined ARC but live out of town and it's a little tuff to get to weekday meetings. Although, I'll try my best when I can get a little time.

just a side note, most LFS that host us USUALLY don't mind trading, but all sales should be held offsite (ie, outside, away from store property)

on that same note... got pics of the parent colonies? I may be interested in some. lol

coral care

You might think about picking up a battery powered air hose for that day-long journey. The shippers use pure O2 to ensure survival. The bubbles in a corner of the container would also promote some circulation to prevent the water's boundary layer from suffocating the corals.

Man... Wish I could have made that list... Oh well, there's always next year?...

I'm looking forward to my first meeting... Anyone looking to get rid of some frags, please keep me in mind... I'd much rather pay for something tha has been well cared for...

The subject of the meeting day comes up about every three months. We realize that not everybody can make it Tuesday nights, but there's never a night that's perfect. Weekends are always tough on everybody, and not near as many people can meet. Everytime we have a poll to detemine the best time, it's always Tuesday.

However, you can check out the Tour of Tanks that we've started having every month on the weekend - it's a full day event!
