I had one for a long time in a FOWLR.

I know 2 people who had them in a reef. Both were fine with all the corals but shrimp and crabs were absolute no gos. One said his snails were ok the other had his chomp on his snails also so keeping it clean was a challange.

They are truly awesome fish!

I have one in a 400 gallon reef. The Australian is the best. Very hearty, but will destroy any crabs and shrimps, and if he wants to, snails. Needs a lot of room. Not as aggressive as he would look, but he is a big wrasse.
