Georgia Aquarium Committee
Margi and I just finished meeting and having dinner with Jeff Swanagan and Phil Conte from the Georgia Aquarium. Everything is on track with the plans regarding the tank -- there is a big meeting next week on their end regarding logistics, size, etc. and we will know more about it by the end of the week. They also appear to be able to potentially help us with some items on Saltwater U and are excited about hosting it at the Aquarium in future years if we want to move it from the Atlanta Zoo, as it may outgrow that facility within one or two years.
I think we need to shift the focus of the committee for a few weeks toward fund raising while we wait for some of the logistics to settle on their end. I will set up a telephone meeting of the committee in a week or so regarding these issues.
