I need a fish ID. The first reef tank on the left as you are walking into the reef exbit has these worm like fish that poke out of a hole in the sand. What kind of fish are they? Thanks in advance.

They remind me of Prarie Dogs because of the way they all polk their heads up and are on the look out and then they all dive into their holes at the same time when one of them is spooked!

I've been told that they are ~9" long and that the sandbed is 12+ inches deep. Other than that, I don't know much else about them.
