The last picture is from the first week I set it up--Jan of this year. I wish the colors came out better... The first picture is with the new MH parabolic reflectors and VHO's.

Looks good What are you lighting your fuge with these days? I think it would be cool to have a sticky for ARC members full tank shots. Unfortunatly i could only provide a full shot of my softie tank cause the sps tank is in a narrow hallway

Did you remove some sand from your fuge? I think so and i likes it, lol. Also did you thin out some of your trophy sized fish?

The fuge has a NO actinic that stays on 24/7, and a 96W PC comes on for 12 hours on a reverse light cycle. I actually didn't take any sand out of it--must just be the perspective...

We should have a "tour of tanks" someday where we all gas up our cars and go check out everyone's tanks!

Yeah we might have to call venezuela and saudi arabia and check to make sure there's enough to go around before we plan an event like that...

I have been using 14K's but have decided to switch to 10K and actinic vhos as well. Can I get by with just two? Hellolights has an entire DIY setup with bulbs for $94 shipped. Sounds like a good deal to me. I like the 10k because it is more white, the 14K made my corals really glow but the fish color up better under the 10K.

HOw many vhos are you running again Jess?

Oh, you'll be fine with 2 VHO actinics--I have the same ballast you are looking at probably--ARO, 220Watt, right? It is a great deal! Get the super actinics by URI and you'll be very pleased, I promise! I'm running two 110watt VHO's and then the AB 13k's (they look like ushio 10k's, in my opinion--a very crisp white on their own.) Good luck!
