FS ASM G2 Skimmer with gate valve mod

I have an ASM G2 skimmer with the gate valve mod for sale. This includes the stock sedra 3500 and the gate valve mod. The skimmer includes the original boxes and all the documentation.

I've had the skimmer in service on my 90 since March of last year, I've decided to upgrade to a larger PM beckett skimmer that allowed me to remove a pump from my system. I've had issues with the skimmer, but it was only due to a lack of proper maintenance on the venturi input and a cracked impeller houseing. The sedra impellar housing was replaced with a new one about 2 weeks ago and the skimmer is running just like new.

I'm asking 175.00.

Yeah, the skimmer is still avail, and I can ship or, my folks have a place in Naples and are going down next week, we could work something out that way as well. It looks like about 80 miles to where my folks are at. Not sure if your interested in doing something like that, but would save about 30 bucks in shipping.

What didn't the skimmer do for you? You mention you had issues with it. Besides parts breaking I mean.

I have friends that have a place in Ft Meyers and go there just about every weekend. I am going to see if they will be there next week. Can you give me the dates you will be in town? Can you also send me a Pictures? My email address if sofidad@hotmail.com

The issues that I had were that the thing would just flood all of the sudden. I finally realized that it was due to the venturi clogging which is an item that requires regular maintenance. It just needs to be cleaned upon occasion. The other issue was with the impellar housing on the pump. I've replaced that part about 3 weeks ago.

Last time I had it hooked up it worked just like new. There are no scratchs or cracks in the skimmer. All the o-rings are perfect and it includes the gate valve mod, along with the orginal stand pipe and sponge.

I'll check on the dates, but I think it will be the first week in April.
