Bought in September. This is the first generation of LED hoods and uses 150w of power. Comes with a built in controller that does accurate seasonal sunrise/sunset/moon rise/moon set/moon phase lighting. Control of white, blue, and moon maximum intensities. Cloud cover system will simulate cloud cover according to set number of cloudy days and maximum % cloudiness.
Fully capable of illuminating any SPS, clams, and other high light needing animals up to 24" of depth. I have kept
Crocea clams at 20" depth for months with excellent results.
Virtually zero heat output to the water and about ~90 degrees to the touch. I kept my AC at 77 degrees and the tank was 78-79 in the summer.

There's nothing wrong with this fixture. I have merely decided to go in a different direction and this fixture is too small for my future plans.
