Freshwater Dip

Internal parasite I QT if irs a visible parasite just do a FW dip. However cleaner shrimp usually eleminate the external problem in my case.

the easy way to catch any fish is with a thin clear container and some frozen shrimp. put the container in the tank and then place a small cube of the shrimp in the back of the container and turn off the lights and the fish will come then you just place a lid on the opening and take it out.

in my opinion i think you should just put a sick fish in a quarantine tank and just treat it for whatever it has....theres to much risk involved in a fresh water dip if not done correctly...either way the fish gets better...just my 2 cents

I totally agree with this. I think a freshwater dip isn't as effective as a true quarantine anyhow. Especially for flatworms. I bought a couple pieces of live rock and mushrooms and dipped them in FW until the point where the mushrooms began turning colors and melting. Well guess what? Flatworms 2 weeks later in the display tank!
