Fragging Night at Marine Fish
The Atlanta Reef Club would like to announce a fragging night at Marine Fish, Inc. during our February general meeting.
February 11, 2003 --- 07:30 PM
Marine Fish, Inc.
1255 Johnson Ferry Rd, #10
Marietta, GA
770-321-8404
A link to a map for directions can be found at www.atlantareefclub.org
There are three activities planned for the evening:
1) A fragging demonstration by ARC’s own fragging expert Richard (Rick) Ogletree. Rick will be demonstrating different methods for fragging and mounting soft corals, LPS corals and SPS corals. All frags from the demonstration will be available to official members in good standing, free of charge, while supplies last.
2) Everyone is encouraged to bring in any corals from home for fragging. The ARC will assist you in fragging, mounting and bagging those corals. We also encourage everyone to group purchase corals. We will assist you in selecting and fragging those corals so everyone in the group can take home a specimen. If you see a coral you like just find another 2 or 3 people to split the cost and the coral.
3) Informal frag swap. With the frags acquired at the meeting or frags brought in from home have fun trading w/ other members. In order to keep this fun and affordable for everyone we are encouraging free trading only. Please no direct frag sales at this meeting.
Like all our general meetings, this meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend. It is sure to be a great meeting. If you have ever wanted to frag a coral or just wanted to learn about fragging this meeting is one you don’t want to miss.
The Atlanta Reef Club would also like to invite everyone to join as an official club member; dues are only $20 yearly. Membership forms can be printed from our website at www.atlantareefclub.org and dues sent to the address on the form. Memberships can also be purchased the night of the meeting. Please join now and take home a free frag the night of the meeting.

Don't know if they have Frogspawn or hammer in stock But I would be willing to split the costs with someone to frag it there.

Hi Noles920. Welcome to the ARC and The Reef Tank.
Marine Fish will have extra inventory on hand for the meeting. They normally have an excellent livestock anyway so I would expect a lot, including frogspawn and hammer.

It should be really fun. And what a better time to buy corals and just whack away. Everyone is definately invited. And if you are not a member of the ARC I recommend it highly. It's only $20 and it will surely be worth your while.

Hi guys.
I'm really excited about the fragging at the meeting and it'll be a great way to get some neat things in my new tank. However, as I just started cycling this tank about two weeks ago I won't be ready to put any fish or corals in it yet. Would anyone consider giving my frags from the meeting a temporary home until my tank is ready for them? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Hi Jon. I'm interested in the solid purple humilis and green with blue tip albrohensis. I've got some new acros since you were here. I'll try to get some pics posted in the photo gallery soon.
BTW, welcome to The Reef Tank.

I can bring 2 frags of the humilis for you two (Rick and Andy). I will also bring the albrohensis for you Rick. I lost quite a few nice pieces some time back (out of town for a week and ran out of C02) so I have lots of room now. I would like some orange montipora if either of you guys have that. I could also use a decent sized piece of a. yongei (slimer). Other than that, anything with nice color will do Thanks, Jon
