Float Switch Accident - Help!

I just got home from work, and when I looked at my tank it was very cloudy. After looking in the stand, I saw that my sump was almost full, because my float switch, which i used for my Auto-Top off system, did not shut off the last time it came on.

It appearently pumped 3-4 gallons of Kalk to the sump. My Chromis are still alive and the many of the snails are still alive. My open brain looks very inflated, but otherwise normal in color. The shrooms are also the same color but somewhat shriveled and my zoos have closed up. The frogspawn looks just about normal. The Only apperent death is the Xenia which is looking as if it is melting away.

What do I do now?!? Obviously a WC is in order, but I'm thinking of the effects of Osmotic Shock. Any and All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Pictures and tests will be forthcoming. If you can give me a call, my cell phone # is (404) 723 - 0561. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your offer Jim:

Things are almost back to normal. I placed the loose frags in my new 10-gallon QT tank, and the fish are still alive. It appears than the only casualties at this point were a few snails.

Looks like the Xenia you gave is going to pull through as well.

Sorry to hear about your accident.

I just purchased a LitremeterIII. It's a programable dosing pump.
It works by putting a programmed amount of water in the tank, in 150 equal amounts over 24 hrs, keeps the salinity stable.
It has not float switches to stick!

Got mine here, the best price I could find.

I wish you luck in getting your tank back to normal!

Cheers

It appears that my tank was able to recover with few ill effects. Pictures, taken this afternoon, are below:
