Flatworms gone! : )

Well it's been a while since I posted. Not much going on just letting things grow, including a flatworm problem. Just like to say thinks to that LFS that gave them to me. Anyways I kinda let them get out of hand. I was siphoning them out daily, which got old. I bought a 6-line, that didn't work either. Thought about a mandarin but decide to try flatworm eXit. This stuff is great. Had no problems during or after I used it. It did seem to knock the snails out for a while they are fine today. No corals; acros, leathers, softies were affect even my clam was fine. I highly recommend this stuff.

Great! Where did you get the stuff? I've had a flatworm problem for a while. It was brought into some check with the addition of a refugium, jacking salinity into the 1.025-26 range, and a better skimmer, but the pesky *******s still lurk in my tank.

And nothing ever eats the ****ed things. I think you'd have to starve your whole tank before these fabled "flatworm eating" fish/inverts will stoop to actually eating flatworms.

Well, I count my blessings. When my daughter's tank had them, I transferred my 6-line into her tank and within 2-3 weeks there wasn't a trace of them. But as you say and Sanjay said to me yesterday, they are hit or miss.

I've heard that some wrasse, dragonets and even a certain type of nudibranch will eat them. But like stated already it's pretty much a hit or miss.

I had a problem with them in my 75 which was a "fuge" at the time and someone told me yellow tail ****-sels would eat them. Went to petco and bought 3 for 9 bucks and within a week the works were gone. I have also had people tell me that they don't always work. Anyways had to transfer everything to that tank when the display started leaking and they seem to be model citizens.
