Fish wanted

Hi All,

I am looking for a few fishes for a friend that I got in the hobby.
Looking for a PB tang, blonde naso, purple tang and a copperband butterfly. the sizes of these should not be smaller that 3 inches and no larger than 6 inches. If anyone has any of these in good health please let me know and I will pass this on to him.

Thank you,
Mark

The first three fish won't stay under that 6" limit for more than a few months.... What size tank are they going in?

They are going in a 180g FOWLR but he wants to enjoy them as they grow.

Not to put a dampers on things. These aren't the easiest fish either to keep. Whats your friends experience? How mature is the tank?

These fish are too big and too agressive to be put together, even for a 180. The max size on PB tangs and purple tangs are 8-12", and naso tangs are 12-16". Even if the PB and the purple tang do not kill each other because of territorial disputes, you're doing the fish a disservice by keeping them in an area so small. If your friend was setting up a 300g, you might be ok, but a 180g is simply too small. No amount of experience or water quality will make up for the fish's natural needs for space and territory.

We are concerned for the sake of the fish on this one. Please be mindful that these are living creatures, and treat them accordingly.

Agreed pick either a PB or a purple and go with one. Plenty of other fish out there. Both the purple and the powder blue get extremely agressive over time and the Naso just gets huge. 280 is an absolute minimum.
