feeding a snowflake

I'm kinna new @ this & have been reading alot about alot.
I see where some ppl. acclamate Mollys for feeders.
I have a tank full of baby red wag plattys rite now & just wondering if I could "thin out the heard" by feeding my snowflake one or two a week?
Or.. does anyone want a net or 2 of Platys??
I gotta do somthing w/ these babys..
I just traded my vacuum cleaner for fish food...
I never use it anyway...LOL..JK.. I do have clean carpet.

As long as they are not super huge and the eel is of sufficient size, it should be no problem. You might be surprised at what an eel can ingest. My yellow head just took in a shrimp the size of my index finger with ease and his mouth is seemingly much smaller. You might consider feeding the platty's some vitamins for marine fish first to up the nutritional value though. Most fresh water fish are not that great.

That is great, sounds like he is very healthy. From what I have lerned and read, 2-3 times a week and feed them until they are gorged.
