Extra acrylic anyone?

Hey Guys:

I'm looking for some 3/8" cell cast acrylic sheet, as I am getting ready to build a sump for my tank. I'll need enough to make a sump appx. 24" X 12" X 14" high with extra for a bubble baffle and rim reinforcement.

I figured I'd see if anyone had some lying around that they could sell for a little cash, before I called up piedmont plastics or mcmaster carr. If anyone has some, let me know by post/PM.

I got a 48" arylic sump from glasscages.com for under $80 and I purchased arylic from andy for the baffels.....

I think I saw some arylic sheets in Home Depot for $29.99. I paid a little more from andy, but I got to see his huge saw in action and the pieces were cut perfectly!!!

Thats cheap for a 48" sump....cheaper than doing it yourself in a lot of the cases.

**** that is pretty cheap. I spent at least twice that on acrylic for my custom sump.

Does he offer non-standard sizes?

Hmm, the 29 they have with some baffles might do the trick...was really looking forward to making my own, but with a price like that, it doesn't seem to make sense to DIY.

Yes he custom makes sumps too. It's a lesser quality Arylic then what Andy uses, however it very very clear and made really strong. I don't think they are SHOW TANK quality, But perfect for a sump. (He's a little sloppy with the glue, but I rather have extra glue then not enough )
