Explain Yourself!
I'm bored and thought I'd start a thread--don't know/can't remember if we've had one of these here before... All the time I'm reading you all's posts and find myself trying to figure out/make up the stories behind your usernames. Sometimes in my head I'm pronouncing them totally different than they're spelled, and then I go to a meeting and I'm trying to identify someone and realize I have no idea what to refer to them as out loud. So how bout let's all tell the stories or give explanations for our usernames so the veil of mystery can be lifted next time we meet. I'll start. Unfortunately, mine's pretty unimaginitive.
Jessezm:
Jesse is my first name, and my last name (used to be): Zaro-Moore (hence the ZM). I actually changed my last name after I got married and had kids (not in that exact order...) to Gerwig-Moore, so now my wife and kids and I all share that name. How appropriate that my wife's name should take the place of my mother's in my last name... It would have been easier if my folks had just given me one name, though. **** hippies!!!
Anyone else?

well pillz was my nickname in highschool. I got it when I was in like 8th grade and it just stuck. It has nothing to do with drugs im actually straightedge, I get that a lot though. Its actually short for pillsbury dough boy. ya know big guy, it was lame at first but it just kind of stuck. but yep thats me. And no none of my avatars are ever pics of myself. Its more fun that way. My first one had the guy with tattoos on his face and everyone has always been "whoa i was expecting you to have tattoos on your face" and now everyone thinks im easy e. To bad he died in like 95.

Leverage Lad was a charater I made up. He will teach kids simple physics. Have not done anything with it, just like the idea.

mufret = Mike Ufret
Have used that since I started playing with computer in '82 (yes, they had computers back then!) and had to have a log in. It has just been easier through the years to keep using it because at my age, it's better to try and not have to remember too many new things.

Hello all, My name is Curtis and I work on the F22A Raptor Aircraft being built in Marietta. I wanted something short for my user name.
F22= F22 Aircraft & mech= Mechanic... I thought that my Avatar of the F22 would give everyone a hint.

I use the alias "flipturn" for almost everything online - email, screen names, etc. It first came from my love of swimming, since flip turns are a vital part of the process.
The "88" stands for my birth year (1988), and yes, I will be 18 in less than a month.
