Drilling Holes

What is the going price for having a Tank Drilled around here I would like to have 2 holes drilled in my small tank. I called 1 place and was told $40.00 Per Hole, I stopped calling after that call

Man, here we go again with the hole drilling. Apparently there is a void to fill here folks. (no pun intended - holes/void get it?)

I pd $20 a hole (or was it $15?) for a hole big enough for 1.5in bulkheads (+ an hourly rate because he had to make a house call).

If you take it to a glass shop it shouldn't be more than $15 so I've heard. Take your bulkheads with you so you match the size correctly.

I've heard several offers to do it at ARC meetings, but no one has stepped up to the plate with their tank. Charles was willing and able with his drill last night.

Bulkheads, Can you get those at the local Home Depot?

I'm usually willing to drill for free.

Unfortunatly I live sort of far away so hooking up w/ me is usually the problem.

I did bring my drill to last nights meeting but nobody brought a tank. --- Oh well.

I've never seen them there but you can get them at some LFS and boating stores like West Marine.
