My order arrived yesterday in excellent condition and I've already hooked up the dual tds meter and the pressure gauge. I'll be doing the membrane and cartridge swaps today.

Jim & Steve were VERY helpful with my [rather large] order, despite the changes and additions I made. Furthermore, the quality of their goods is excellent, and their customer service is outstanding as well; I must have sent them atleast 10 emails, and every one was replied to in a timely and thorough fashion. Got the cartridges swapped out last night as well as the membrane(for more throughput). I about gagged when I opened the sediment chamber! There was gelatinous stuff floating in there. (shudder) Even though my incoming tds shows as only 25, this was just nasty for six months of so-so use. I'll be changing that one at four month intervals now. Blech!

I also finally put in the membrane flush kit that I never got around to doing when I bought the system. It was a real simple job with TFG's external restrictor.

So now I don't have to wait half the day just to make five gallons of water. Plus, I have enough replacement supplies to get through next year, where I will be using the system a lot more than before. (More and Bigger Tanks!)
