We all use different type of salt and most of us got our salt on the NOV meeting..
As for RO/DI replacement unit then they are just like salt, we all us different type of ro/di unit, so we going to need different replacement part. Another bommer.

I say light.. But then we all use different light
I could go for 3-4 vho light right now. I were going to have to replace them next year anyhow

i'm replacing ro/di replacement filters now as well, so that would be good but want to know before purchase it.
as far as diff brands go, most any of them will work with the others replacement filters, they generally just use the 10" standard canisters. You can get them from ace hardware and fit, not necessarilly the ones' i'm after though. and i've seen much cheaper at bigals and marinedepot.

I just changed mine a month ago. I could use spares (cost me $120 to replace last set). I have 6 stages in mine. So how would that work? Most all of you have a 3 stage unit? I need different filters than most of you I am assuming.

I got the seachem salt in November so I am set for a few months there.

I could use light bulbs now!.

I could use some 14K halides bulbs myself.

As for the RODI I replaced my filters for $35 bucks the other day, my RODI is from ebay and it has ran great for over two years. I have never checked the water though.

To those who just bought them recently. BUY A FLOAT SWITCH!!!!
I didn't and I left it running in a bucket in the kitchen I woke up the next day to find about 10 gallons of water on the floor, and it had to be cleaned up before work. Oh and most of it was behind the washer and dryer....Just wanted to warn you....

for those folks looking for RO membrane replacements - I have about 4 in the freezer ( a good place to keep them). Make me an offer for one or all - there are 50 GPD membranes - I'll check for sure if interested.

The only thing about live rock is we wouldnt get a group buy cheaper then we usually see it for when someone is breaking down a tank. With the amount of members we have that is usually 2 times a month on a slow month, and that live rock is cured.

The best thing to do for live rock is probably figure out how many people, how much rock, and approach an online vendor to get a deal.

I need around 300 #s want a mix but mostly tonga. If we could get fresh out of the ocean at the price people sell it for when breaking down I'd be a happy camper!
