It's the time of year when most folks are focused on giving, but not just those in shiny paper decorated with a bow.
This month is a great time to donate all unwanted fish or non-fish related items that are taking up space in your closets, basements, garage or fishroom ( if you should be so lucky

). Donations made before the end of the year can be deducted when you do your taxes.
The IRS is fairly lenient with donations valued under $500. If you donate an item to the Atlanta
Reef Club, a 503 (c) 7 non-profit corporation, before Jan 1st, I'll send you a receipt listing the item(s) donated. You are pretty much on the honor system in declaring the value of your donation.
Your donations must be received by one of our officers this year in order to qualify as a 2004 charitable donation for tax purposes.
If you're interested in making a donation to the ARC, please contact me via PM or email and I'll help make arrangements to get it this year so that it qualifies for a 2004 deduction.
Thank you in advance!
