Sorry, couldn't resist!

What else is in your tank? Any LR?
The shark is a rather mellow one, some of the wrasses, a few of the triggers, a harlequin sweetlips? Sharks eat alot and tend to pollute a tank rather quickly, so make sure your filtration can handle the load...

Thumbs up

Thank you

I have about 60 pounds of tonga branch that I bought from CAB. No other fish as of now. I lost all of them due to a nudi dead in my tank.all my inverts lived but all 7 fish died within 2 days. Was not a happy camper.

I bet. If you have inverts forget the triggers, they'll become food. You'll just have to find fish that aren't too agressive since the shark will tend to be sitll during the daylight hours, just be sure he is fed well, or he may eat the other inhabitants while they sleep at night.

My brother had one and kept it with an angel (flame), sohal tang, a couple blennies, and clown. His issue was when it got around 16" long he was knocking all his rock over.

The problem with sharks is not a lot can go with them. Most of the fish agressive enough to live with them and not be eaten will also tend to pick on them, picking at the fins and eyes. You might get away with a grouper, but this fish grows to around 4 feet long and will soon be almost the length of your tank. They grow at an astonishing rate and can even grow up to 3" in a year according to some of the articles I have read. In a 90 gallon tank almost nothing can be kept with him. In a larger tank with very good skimming and filtration, some of the moray eels, squirelfish, groupers, snappers, and hawkfish are a couple suitable tankmates. Things to avoid inclue lions, puffers, triggers, angles and other very aggressive fish. But, like I said, this is assuming a larger tank. This fish will grow to around 40" and will barely be able to move in that 90 gallon tank. Look up further information on chiloscyllium punctatum on the net. They are commonly kept in the aquarium trade and one of the better beginner sharks provided better space. Oh and the inverts will soon become lunch...one of the natural prey items for this shark

a shark that small wont be able to hunt down anything, u will have to hand feed it for a few months probably. get that sucka hooked on silversides and he wont eat any fish u put in the tank. inverts is a diff story. my shark would eat silversides and goldfish only. and the goldfish had to be freshly killed, i usually stuck a skewer through them and fed him with it.. he was a lil over a foot long tho. But he wouldnt touch any fish i had in there, clowns, triggers, gobys, nothin...

Eels go great with sharks. I recommend feeding him freeze dried shrimp/krill.
