Coral Attack?

I just got about 7 pieces of small coral frags for my 10 gallon nano tank tonight and arranged them all in my tank as I saw fit. I came back about an hour and a half later to check on them to see if they had perked up any now that they had acclimated a bit (don't worry Joel I drip acclimated for over 30 minutes). When I checked on them I saw that the ricordea that was about three inches away from the xenia frag that I had just added had leaped off of the rock and onto the substrate below even though it was attached to a rock about the size of a golf ball. Also a frogspawn frag that I added (about the size of a nickel) that was placed about 4 inches from a large ricordea was being attacked by the same ricordea. It had apparently moved halfway across the 10 gallon (width wise) and jumped on top of the frogspawn. Have any of you seen this happen before? Are ricordea generally this mobile/aggressive? Am I overreacting?

ricordia arent mobile.....well not That fast the oly wayt they move that ive head of is over time like a few days or weeks theyll move side ways and leave little babies behind. also over a few days they will release from their hold to find a better location if their current one isnt suitable. but in just a few hours? i dunno

How was it attached?corals don't have brains so it didn't attack the frogspawn.

animals dont need brains to defend them selves or attack things look at anemones, do they have brains? they still manage to kill prey.

Most likely it detached itself (maybe cause of the Xenia -- maybe not) At that point the current is what moved it on top of the frogspawn.

I second the current issue. Frogspawn would win in an all out fight.
Also, I came home today to find my 3" R. Florida had moved about 4" from its usual spot. Not sure why. I think it might have gotten tired of being the perch for my new lawn mower blenny. Anyway, it should be interesting to see if any babies spring up due to pedal laceration.

Not much help but maybe a little,
David
