Toss the rock in a rubbermaid with a heater, powerhead, and skimmer put a lid on it so that theres no light getting in, or very little light And wait. Change the water often so that you can starve the algea. Thats how I do it, im sure theres more to it...

Thanx so much, how hot should the heater be, because since it is summer, my room can get pretty hot and the temperatures can change pretty easy, and what if it is a clear rubbermaid container will that work or not? And what percent water change should i do

I would get a rubbermaid that is a solid color. keep the temp at the norm, 78 80 ish. And change almost all the water atleast once a week. Also do the dunk and swish thing... set up a extra bucket of water and dunk the rocks one at a time to clear off all the dead stuff that is on the rocks while cooking...
