to my knowledge in general, oscellaris will have a harder time to host than percs will, generally due to the fact that most osc's are tank raised. now this doesnt mean they wont host, just maybe not in an anemone, kinda like mine, one is in my toadstool and the other in a patch of zoos, anemone, all by its lonsome.

That one in the pic is an Osc. I have one too. The "black percs" around here actually have tons of orange on them in the head and tail section. Their main body is also a mix of see through black and orange. I think most LFS will label them all as percs though.

you mean they label the osc. as percs? man that is so confusing.... thats why this hobby is agravating at times cause people dont use the scientific neam when a bunch of fish could share the same common name... and when they do use the scientific one its not always right so you are payin for somethin that isnt what you want...

We have a black and white oscellaris (I believe). It has the yellow nose and pecs. It was hosting an anemone in the LFS, but we don't currently have one for him. He occassionally gets friendly with the xenia. Anyway, all the bw's at my LFS were hosting BTAs.
