cleaning hood fans

WHat is the easiest way to clean the salt build up off these PC fans.
Just seeing what others are doing cause mine periodically build up so much they can't spin

wet dry vacuum cleaner. Use a 1" dry paint brush while holding the open nozzle of the vacuum under the fans to remove both the salt and anydust that may have accumulated on the fan.

Consider installing a splash/bubble guard between the fan and the water, a small shelf of acrylic around 25 cm x 25 cm mounted just under the fans with L brackets (painted with marine grade enamel or epoxy to prevent rust) shoud do the trick...
