cheap RO/DI on ebay
Does anyone have and experience with these RO/DI systems? The price seems too good to be true, 100 bucks for a 6 stage unit shipped.

I know a few people who own that unit ... only complaint I have heard is that the seller can't speak/read/write english very well. I suspect the two most popular units sold on Ebay are sold via aquasafe and filterdirect.

I got the ebay one a week before they figured out the group buy.
works fine to me. tastes good, i dont have a TDS meter, but for 100$ I got a spare set of filters, Ill change them in a year I figure(I only have a 75g tank, Im not going through water that fast). and Ill do the DI every 2 years. thats the plan anyway. cant beat the price, thats for sure.

Just be aware you get what you pay for and thats why there filters are inexpensive, your filters are good for about 200 gallons of finished DI water or less. Good if your not making much water but if your doing 20% water changes every two weeks and top off thats not much unless you have a small tank.
