Give him a while... It's probably still acclimateing to your water conditions... I will move till it finds a place it loves in your tank...So I wouldn't worry...

It took my BTA one night to get used to my tank and find a spot that he likes and he is a host to a tomato clown.

They will move around the tank until they find their favorite place which may take a day to a month and even after that one day in the upcoming months they may just decide to move around again.

They will stretch themselves up towards the light while keeping their foot deep within the rockwork. I'd expect it to reach for the light in the next day or two.

They're very simple, yet interesting creatures.

Enjoy!

Bob

The only way to tell if its male or female, aside from witnessing a spawning event, is to slice it open and look at the coloration of the anemone where it keeps its "gonads."

borrowed from Dr. Ron...

"These "gonads" are not organs in the sense of the gonads found in other animals, but are simply aggregations of gametes in the gastrodermis. They tend to appear as thickend patches. They will be a greenish tint in the female, bright white in the male. If the animal is in good health and well fed, they may be present and visible. However, the developent of gametes is triggered environmentally and many reef aquaria are too stable for this to occur (see my article on the need for periodicity in the September issue of AHABS)." - Dr. Ron Shimek
