putting a back pac on a 180 is like comparing jock straps if one was made out of two rubber bands and a peanut shell and the other was a hardhat and a cable.... you need the hardhat and cable

I have really liked the TurboFloaters that we have used. They usually retail for around $250-275. Not sure what range you are looking for.

I was hoping to find something under $200 but it is quickly becoming apparent that I am going to have to spend over that amount unless I can come up with something used. The tank is up at this point and holding water. Next step is starting to get all the components. Just got a backpak running on it to get some circulation for now. Next step is a wet/dry and return pump. After that going for lights and the skimmer. Gotta do this in stages if I can't locate things used or at a good deal. Figure I will get the most important parts first and go from there.

Well have found some of the Turbofloaters pretty reasonable online, under $200 shipped. I am also looking at some of the Berlin series. Some say that they are rated up to 250 gallons. Has anyone had any experience with the berlin turbos? BTW wasabi, thanks for those site, started me looking on the other reef boad

Just THAT impressed with them. I wish I was a rep and didn't have to pay full price for both of mine, but they were worth every penny. There aren't many things I have ever bought I can say that about.
