begging for handouts

i'm new to reef husbandry and just starting my tank. I've read posts here and there of people "downsizing" some of the overgrown animals in their tank. If anyone has any scraps/remnants/fragments/leftovers and could bring them to Tuesday's meeting, i'd be most appreciative of a handout. (Yes, I'm begging ;->)

I promise to pay back those who follow me.

thx, kevin.

PS: I've seen where there is an abundance of pulsating zenia out there. I've got just the spot for some of that ...

Kevin, welcome to this forum!

How long has your tank been operating? What type of lighting do you have and what of corals are you looking for?

I hope to see you tomorrow night,

Bob

My tank has been up now since the end of december. It has completely cycled and i started adding some animals recently. I have some zoos, yellow polyps, green star polyps and a green striped mushroom. Plus a clean up crew. I have about 45# of LR. Everything seems to be doing well-- nothing has died so far, that is. I've had the water tested and it was within parameters.

My lighting is a retrofit kit for a 29 gal. Eclipse made by Custom SeaLife. It is the two bulb gadget with one actinic and one daylight bulb. It is supposed to be fine for soft corals.

PS: I just went to Customer Sea Life's website and notice they are stopping business after 14 years citing competitive forces that are moving mfg out of california.
