I travel and sing with friends that are in the Southern Gospel Music field. A rarity for me these days even though I used to do it every weekend professionally for over ten years. Riding a tour bus is fun but there is a LOT of hard work going on behind the scenes.

Thinking about starting a new quartet, The Crab Quartet.. Who wants to join? :-) (btw, I am not serious about starting anything). LOL

They can stay outside, even if the pond freezes over. I will post pics of our ponds in a few days.

As far as other interests - rare books and prints (primarily old science and Mark Twain), SCUBA, fine furniture making...raising 4 kids..

I am also a HUGE Mt Everest nut. I bet I have the largest library in GA. I have orginal douments and postcards from the Mallory & Ervne expedition back in the 20's, etc.

My goal is to go to base camp in a few years. My cousin is also a climber and I got to watch him on Everest last year form the webcasts.

That is my true passion.

Todd

ps...Steve is correct, don't feed them and look for them in the spring..

I'll try to take yard pics tomorrow Todd. Just put out fertilizer/iron. Should be nice and green with the rain. Spent a couple days this past week pressure washing the sidewalk and walkway. The driveway is next. My husband thinks I'm crazy. I think it makes a big difference.

Yardwork? That's what I pay other people to do that enjoy sweating and bug bites! LOL

Most of my free time is spent playing computer/video games. RPGs to be more exact (Neverwinter Nights ROCKS!). I love sci-fi/fantasy movies and books. I spend a great deal of time at my church too. Oh yeah, I work there...

Everyone is always asking me... uhhh... do you make jelly or something?

Actually, "jams" has to do with jam music. Phish, Dead, Disco Biscuits, New Deal, etc. However, although I still enjoy the music, the passion has been dying a bit with Phish disbanded and an 18mo old kiddo to contend with. So, while I used to plan my vacations around music concerts, that isn't exactly my lifestyle these days (although I did venture to Vermont with a couple buddies last year for Phish's last concert).

I have a long list of past and current hobbies as well. I'll just hit the highlights... With respect to aquariums, I kept tropical freshwater fish when I was in grade school (your typical 900 guppies in a 10g tank thing). Dad kept an oscar at the same time (guppies were lunch for the Oscar). I even had a turtle once... but he was very short lived. I'm not sure if you can call many other pets a "hobby" like you can with fish, but as far as exotic pets, I had two ferrets for seven years (awesome pets, but not doing it again). Also took care of a friend's boa for a summer (very low maintenace, but also pretty boring).

Electric RC airplanes and cars are pretty much on the backburner these days. I wish I could play bass guitar, but my bass pretty much sits in the corner most of the time. Every once in a while I get into video games, although that time is extremely limited lately, with Halo2 on xbox live pretty much using up any time I give to that. I've been into computers since I was little (ending up studying computer engineering in undergrad). I've always liked photography (I'm on my 6th digital camera), and with my new Digital SLR, that passion is back again.

This is going to sound strange for always living in the south (Alabama, then Texas, then Atlanta), but I'm also an ice hockey player. I played 1st - 12th grade, played adult hockey in Dallas, and currently play on an adult hockey team here in Atlanta. The only time I didn't play hockey since I started was in college at Auburn, where I played lacrosse instead. So, I guess I'd have to say that hockey is my #1 hobby, having stuck with it for, essentially, 25 years.

Later,
Chris

We have a Lab who wants more attention than our tang.
Other time is taken up by mountain biking, map making, our Acura TL and almost antique Toyota pickup.

I also have an extensive National Geographic collection and about 100 globes of the world.

Photography both topside and underwater are growning hobbies.

Yard work is at the bottom of this list. It's the hardest but most rewarding.
