Atlanta frag swap?

Well it seems like every other state is having one, tenn just did and NC is on the 26th. What about us? Would be a really cool thing. maybe get both clubs together for it or something. Im sure this has been brought up before but whats the verdict on it?

Is there a forum dedicated to trading frags that local people use?

honestly the best place to put in nowadays is at www.atlantareefclub.org in the trade section. There seems to be a lot more activity over there these days..

I agree...having a frag swap with reefing clubs from surrounding states would be a great way to network with other reefers, as well as to increase the diversity of corals that we trade amongst ourselves.

It would be great to get the ball rolling on one...

I agree that a frag swap would be cool. I also think our officers have been doing a fine job and keep themselves busy with club business like the website, membership, Saltwater U3, meetings, etc. Even when they ask for volunteers for SW3, no one replied (at least on the forum).

I think that if we want a frag swap, then people other than the officers should be proactive and volunteer to organize the event. I'm sure they would be happy to assist if needed, but we can't expect them to provide all the manpower for the whole club.

I would love to help. Just need someone who can get things rolling. Doesnt the BOD have to vote, or dont we have to ask if its alright. Or see if they want/can sponser the event. Maybe help finding a location that can fit all the needs of our club plus ASMAS and the chatanooga reefers, south carolina reefers and I believe theres some from alabama that come up also. There would need to be a large place. Like the garage sale meeting place or even bigger.

I would love to come. I have tons (well about 15-20) small leathers that my large one has given birth to it the past 2 weeks. I would love to do some trading and since Athens is so far away from everyone else it would be a geat time to meet everyone!
