At our September Meeting, let's test our water!
I know we test our tank water with hydrometers or refractometers, but how about our source water or our purified water?
I’d like to do an informal study on the total dissolved solids (TDS) of our water sources and our RO/DI purified water, while also testing our TDS meters.

For the record, my readings are;
Tap = 38
RO/DI = 0
Im happy with the Tap reading, i really thought it would be higher.

We should see if we can do a quick PB on TDS meters, there only like 25 bucks anyways but maybe have a pick up there at the meeting. It may be too soon though..

I don't know that I'll ever get to attend a meeting. I have class from 8:00am to 9:15pm on Tuesdays AND Thursdays.

Was there a mention of a power buy for a TDS meter  i may have to hold out and try and get one then. i will bring some tap water i dont have a RO unit so i cant bring any RO water

Kullas, Pillz mentioned if there could be a PB on TDS Meters, but there wasn't enough time to put one together for our Sept meeting. Good idea though!
We'll probably look into this for a future meeting.
