Anyone got a 55 acrylic sitting around?

Well I bought a 55 from petsupermarket, brought it over to Aquarium Showcase to have it drilled, and it shattered. Turns out that perfecto uses tempered glass on the sides on the 55. I remember someone selling used 55 acrylic tanks. I was wondering if anyone had one sitting around.

I was the one selling the used acrylic tanks but I can't get anymore of them...

i have had 3 perfecto tanks drilled with no problem. i have never heard of tempered glass on the sides only on the bottom. but i do know the area around the drilled site is always easily stressed.

Wasabi,

According to Perfecto, who I called, only the 55 has all panes tempered. Just my luck to pick that tank.

Thank you for the offer. Good news is that Perfecto was really cool about it and I have a new 55 from them waiting for me. Kudos to them for going out of their way for me.
