Anyone going to Madison, WI?

I found 12 bags of SouthDown sand, now known as YardRight tropical play sand,at the Home Depot there. They have them on clearance for 6.99/50 lb bag. And no one is ordering any more. I was just wondering if anyone was going in that direction for other reason's if they can go get this stuff and bring it back here. They won't transfer it down here because it is on clearance.

This doesn't answer your question but, The Fish Garden usually has some. I think someone said CBA sometimes has some too. Beats hauling 600 lbs sand 900 miles.

Has anyone tried getting a bunch of people together and see if Home Depot will order a pallet of it? Maybe if it was prepaid? Just a suggestion, I know I would go in on it. Even if I had to buy extra bags.

Already tried that.

Ive spent the last 2 days calling HD all over. No one has it. And they arentgoing to order it anymore either. That is why they have it on clearance in WI. I was going to have a whole pallet shipped to the HD here from PA, the computer they use said they had 250 bags of it. But the computer was wrong, they didn't have any!! I can't even get anyone to answer the phone over at Old Castle in Atlanta. That is who packages this stuff now instead of Southdown, It is such an illusive item I think that is why I want it so bad!! Just like a woman!

I know of at least two, and maybe three, pallets that have been ordered through club members in the past. It is a huge pain in the arse. Do some searching within the ARC forum for southdown and you'll see what I mean.

I think it was Bamman that said he can get some in South Carolina in the HD there.

I'm not sure who you're asking, but I'd like 2 or 3 bags I could maybe handle about 5 bags for future plans
