Only if you can catch him - I took it off Jesse's hands last week because no one wanted him...I didn't really want him but he was a great looking fish and I could make room in my tank - but there is no way to get him out now.Steve

Anyways, I'm not saying I should get him. might have to use tangs nature against it to catch it..
Nice thread about catching clowns, I think it was on ReefCentral. Could adapt this to tanks as well.
I can't take it now anyhow. QT is full. Good luck catching it.
Oh, Steve while got attention, any chaeto available?

same area, just off hamilton mill up ridge in subdivision on off bart johnson.
thinking use a clear container, with mirror tint on bottom, he's going to try to attack it. when he attacks it, he'll be going right into container.
don't leave in the container though except long enough to put in another handy container that won't stress out as much, like a ziploc.
Haven't attempted this method yet, but sure sounds like would work with how they act if catch reflection in the glass.
IF fails, can do my last method that worked, put a opaque container in on side. I used the preskimmer box from remora pro. after that is in there a day or so for to get used to. stick net in, while it is in vicinity of the opening on container, and it went right in to hide, just pull the container then.

I always have spag. algae - come by or remind me the day before the meeting. If you are going to the Alabama trip this Sat, I can bring it then also.

I have two yellow tangs, decent size for $25 a piece and a blue regal tang for $35, and they are either going to be sold or going back to the LFS for credit as I move my 215 reef into a 120 and make my 215 a big predator tank. I like it when they eat each other.

Marine Fish has one of the biggest and healthiest looking yellow tangs I have seen. I think it is going for around 70

Yeah, I seen that one in there last Tuesday.. I wanted it, but figured He would be TOO much for the QT tank which already has some in it. Untill Aug 1st when they get to move to their new home.. the 150g.

Are there any good fish catching techinque especially for those small quick ones with a lot of LR hiding spaces? My dad had a pretty good idea but I have yet to test it on my yellow tail damsels or my yellow tangs. When the fishes are anticipating their feeding... or really starving and agressive to get the first food that comes in the tank... Put the fish food inside the Net catcher and let the fish come in the net for the food then PRESTO! Anyone thought of this trick yet as well as any experience from it?
