Any sales people out there?

Hey everyone. We're gearing up for SWU2, and would like to start approaching companies for potential sponsorship for SWU2.

The sponsorship is really a win-win for both the company and for SWU2. The ARC had great success with SWU last year, and expect even more success this year. Part of this success translates into advertising opportunities through the sponsorships we require. And the more sponsorships we get, the lower the event costs are for those that attend.

I'd love to see us get enough sponsorship so that everybody can go for free (!), but that's unlikely to happen.

Anyway, the SWU2 committee is working hard, and the board members are already tapped out with ARC commitments.

Does anybody out there have sales experience and would be interesting in helping us raise money? I'm afraid if I call around, we'll end up with nobody, and everybody will have to pay a fortune to get in!

Have you talked to the guys at optimum aquarium? If you pm me the details, I'd be willing to ask the boss over there. He's a pretty nice guy if that's the type of sponsorship you're looking for.

We're looking for any type of sponsorship! A lot of the stores around town are going to be sponsors; Optimum Aquarium would be a perfect fit.

Have you considered contacting other reef clubs? I know I would be interested in having my reef club (the Charleston Reef Club ) help sponser the event. Please E-mail me details. Troy182@earthlink.net I know that there are at least 4 of us planning on attending. I would like to support the event in any way possable.
