Any free frags out there? zoos?

If anyone needs to get rid of frags, I'd be glad to take them off of your hands!

I'll take any kind of zoos, and basically anything that's not aggressive.
Can't really afford to spend anymore money on it right now, so free is good!

PM if willing, I'd very much appreciate it!

Thanks

Well, the only free frags I've found so far is Xenia. Thanks to those folks who offered the Xenia

Anyone else out there who wants to give away some frags?
I'll be forever grateful, and I'll be sure to give out free frags from them when the time comes

I don't have much to trade, except chaetomorpha, halimeda, and mermaid's fans. I also have some light purple, medusa-worm-looking worms that are reproducing in my tank (LR hitch hikers). I have no positive ID yet, but they eat algae and detritis all night long. They don't cause any problems that I can see.

I have 1 good candidate for trading that I think I can catch. It's a younger one, about 3-4" long and about 5mm in diameter. I will have plenty more in the next couple of months!

If anyone wants worms or plantlife, I am willing to trade I am slowly breaking down and buying a few frags here and there, but free is better!

Cool!

I would be very thankful! Eventually, I can give you an orange digitata in return if you want. It's a frag I got from Melissa, and it's growing very fast!

It should be safe to keep the Colt on the other end of the tank, away from the digitata, right?

Good coral deals.

David,

I was just in Cappuccino Bay Aquarium this past week and they had quite a number of frags separated into floating baskets in the coral tanks. They had $20 frags, $10 frags and $6 frags. I found a rock with 2 different mushrooms on it in the $6 basket and separated them when I got them home. I know starting from 1 mushroom seems like a long way to go, but like you, it was the right price. I also picked up my first candy-cane coral. Lastly, I picked up a tennis-ball sized piece of rock that had a couple of yellow/orange growths on them. Not sure what they are, but they appear to be surviving and bring a new color to the tank.

FYI

Mark

Thanks for the tip, I might have to check them out this weekend!

The single mushroom doesn't bother me. I really like the idea of frags, since it helps preserve the reefs

I've shopped for frags there too, and I agree that CBA offers great deals on frags. I picked up some a frag of steel-blue zoos there a few weeks ago for just $15. IMO, more LFSs should offer frags as CBA does.

Just got home from CBA with a green brain. He didn't have his frag trays set up today.

I just got home from there too; We were probably there at the same time!

Actually they had some frags for sale. The frags were set up in shallow rubbermaids across from the register. I got a small zoo rock out of the frag display. I also got a rock w/ 2 ricordea, and a green-centered clove polyp out of soft corals display.
In all, I walked out w/ more than I intended to buy; as usual

So funny, we did too! We were there from about 5-5:40pm today!
I broke down and bought 2 zoos (orange w/ yellow centers, brown w/ orange centers), a yellow ricordea, and a candy cane. All from the frag trays.

Good prices, but I think there were slim pickins' by the time I got there.

Only a 50min drive

Oh, so that's what those long flat trays are for. May have to make another trip tomorrow.

David, if you are going to the meeting on Wednesday, maybe we can try again for the colt frag if you are still intersted. I have one for you if so.

Thanks,
Kayla

Thanks Kayla, but I don't think I will be able to make it to this one. Next time I guess
