Another "What is this?"

Got this shroom from Cap Bay last week. This thing was attached to the back of it. Does anybody know what it is.

Destroy that aptasia! It'll spread and take over your tank.... Kalkwasser, Joe's Juice, clorox, etc. Take this one seriously. Chop the rock in half and throw the anenome away if you have to.

I agree that the "shroom" looks like a green ricordia and the other is aptasia.

So I should get rid of it? How? Boiling water injection? Can I take it out of the water and cut it off the rock?

Don't cut it up. Get some Joe's Juice, or kalk paste and inject him.

if you havent glued that rock down just take it out and scrub off the aptasia with a tooth brush in a cup of tank water and you will be fine.

If its attached yeah boiling water, or joes juice injection.

but yes kill it

Yes at the LFS. I know that CB has it, not so sure about any others. Although they probably do carry the stuff.

Take a syringe and some boiling water. Squirt him a time or two and he will pop right off.

Looks like a chisel at an angle and a hammer might take off the side bit of the rock, too.

That's more of the "nuclear option" though.
