The wife and I did the beginning SCUBA class this weekend and were very impressed. Scott and Diane run a fantastic shop and are both excellent instructors able to relate to people at many levels. I can't say enough how nice it is to be taught by people who are both knowledgeable
and cool. Not even the least bit of attitude or "uppityness".
I breezed through everything, but my wife had some issues with some of the underwater skills. Scott came in on his day off for the second day so that Diane could spend one on one time with her, and they had a dozen people in the class! Outstanding committment to the customer. What's more, they were emphatic that she could come back as often as she wanted at no additional charge until she felt comfortable.
Just awesome.
I'll be doing the nitrox class next and then going for the open water cert where both can be gotten at the same time.
I was originally gunning to make the grey's reef trip, but will pass on that.
Oh, and they were quite pleased to hear that we were referred by the ARC. Somebody ought to drop off some SWU/club stuff.
