Our bubble tip lived in a 1/2 crack in a piece of dead coral. I would pull itself in every night so that you could barely tell it was there. Another bubble tip liked to keep its foot under a piece of LR and pop up around the edges when the lights came on.

I agree, they will do what they please and if not happy will move to somewhere else; probably right where you don't want it to go.

As long as the rock has not fallen on the anenome and trapped it, you are probably fine. I have read that they like to have their foot in tight places, cracks, holes, etc.

mine for awhile was out in the open, but as I added more coral I assume it messed up the flow of water, so the bta moved to a crevase where its currently at now. Just let them do their thing and work around what they want and you'll have a happy anemone

leave it for now. I have heard that once it is where YOU like it (If it ever gets there) that you should target feed it some meaty food. The concept being that if it receives food in a location, it is more likely to stay in that location. Even if you do feed it, you have a 50-50 chance it will keep moving IME. It seems to be an idividual behavior thing...
