Acro Crab

I bought a new colony of acropora from CBA on Sunday. Awesome piece but when I was acclimating it, I noticed a small (maybe half a dime) crab in it. I have been doing some research and realized it was an acro crab. It was the same color as the colony (burgundy) and had a black band across it's eyes. I am hoping the coral dip didn't kill it, but it seemed to be okay when I placed into my tank. Anyone have any bad experiences with it. It was still in the center of the colony this morning. BTW, I found out this coral has green/yellow feeders this morning. Really gives the burgundy a unique look.

I have several Acro Crabs and haven't had any issues. I have never seen them venture out of the Acro's. When you feed your tank, watch him he will wave his claws trying to catch food in the water stream.

I have had them migrate to another coral but have never noticed any damage being done. They are an entertaining addition.

my acro crabs chase out the pesky hermits that climb up the acros
Their claws are bigger, so the hermits run for it!

I looked it up online, and it was the same color as the coral, a bit lighter but had a blue/black band across its eyes. On Wet Web Media it confirmed it was an acro crab. Doesnt' really do much but when I dipped the coral, I wonder if I wounded it.
