5g Nano light upgrade

I just got a 5g nano tank its a eclipse hood with the light and filter in the hood. befor i start i want to upgrade the lighting to PC. i can put around 12 or 13 inches of bulb under the hood. can that be done? or what would be a good way to upgrade the lighting?
