I've got tons of them. Trouble is I don't always photograph them during the building stage. I'll get some pics together of the finished products.

This is a cannister filter I made out of 2" PVC and some fittings. I use it to run carbon. One end unscrews to add a mesh bag with carbon. Hook a Maxi-Jet to the clear tubing and drop the whole thing in the sump. Cost just a few bucks and only took about ten minutes to make.

OH FUDGE
I'll get the camera out. Rick I have two of those things too. One is for the intake on the Beckets. Good idea to cut down on house pollutants entering the tank.

Dear Spanky,
How real is the indoor polution injection? Also, is there a way to quiet the air intake into our skimmer? It always sounds like a jet taking off.
Thanks, Chris

Chris, depending on what going on in the house, it can be very real. I you think about it, beckets suck in a lot a air and it's injected right into the system.
Let me see if I can describe what we did to the becket. The valve on the becket has a female thread intake. I got a fitting at the hardware that has a male nipple on it and fitted it with clear vinyl hose to the air filter. That also made it totally quiet.
Did I make sense?

It will make sense when I look up what a Becket is and how it relates to what I have.
Thanks! Back to the monster. I am going to slay it today and get my plumbing working. I never had this problem with the others
Looks like its going to be a beeeeutiful day outside anyway

Here are my currents ones. These are going on the 125g that is right behind them. This will be a built in setup ontop of our gas fireplace. The plywood board that it is all sitting on is total amount of space I can use for all equipment. I have been working on these pieces for the past 5 months.
This is the Kalk Reactor. It will be fed directly from the Crawl Space Below (Basement) using a RO/DI plumbed into the house water system. This is also the top-off device for the tank.

Here is a pic. of the skimmer. It will get its water supply from an old HO wet/dry that is now doing duty on my 55. I will modify the wet/dry to act as a sump just in case of power failure. The skimmer will then dump into the refugium.
