Water in the big tank!

We're almost there!

We've got water, salt and Scott is moving rocks around right now. Hope to have another pic soon, but here's Scott last night adding salt to the water:

Hmmm remote link didn't work... will try below.

There that worked.

We have a cabinet maker coming to make a pretty facade around the stand.

You can see a little slide show of the tank and the store's progress to date here: http://photos.yahoo.com/jennmyers

More pics! More pics! *Angry pic wanting mob shouts!* Nice! Hey Jenn, where is Canton in relation to Southern Pines? I'm going to Southern Pines next weekend for a riding competition.

Be careful what you wish for, Creepette, it's not all fun - I got home at midnight tonight and did housework for an hour and I'm not done yet... and I have to do a maintenance before I open tomorrow... LFS ownership means working 40 hours a day, 9 days a week

I'm not sure what all we will put in it but we've got a school of 6 Monos that came with the tank - normally a brackish fish, they have been kept in a reef situation for 6 years. They are in our FO system right now, not too happy being in a 75 gallon tank. We've also got a huge lionfish, Spike. I wanted to do some schools of small fishes, but another customer wants to "donate" his super-sized panther grouper to the tank, so it is looking like a FOWLR with some big bad fish.

I might have to bribe Jerel to find me a nice French... and maybe a Queen or a Blue... I love big angels, they are highly intelligent....

Ahhhhh the possibilities....

Jenn

Tarpon; Marlin; Barracuda;.................. yes, the possibilities are endless with a tank that size!

Great job, Jenn! The store is looking good; first class!
