Congrats to FishDaddy! Featured Member of the Month
Thank you everyone for your nominations. This month our featured member is FishDaddy. Dick is always around to lend a helping hand, and great advice. His collection of reefing links is legendary . What would TRT be without Dick finding the most obsure pics or animations to go along with a thread. Of course, the yellow tang in a dixie cup pic is one of the most memorable.
Thanks Dick for everything that you bring to TRT. Your sense of humor, your ability to hunt down new members and make them feel welcome, and your southern charm add so much to our community.
Congrats!
Brooke

Great Honor Dick!! As already stated, your links are so helpful to all of us in this hobby!
It is a unique person who has done what you have done for Fishgirl and her tanks! Your a cut above when it comes to educating a youngster to this beautiful and rewarding hobby!
And most of all you are a great friend even if I have not met you in person! Some day! Johnny
P.S. Did you have trouble getting the baton out of Doug's hands!! LOL

Congrats, Dick!
When you get a second from doing water changes on the 55, the eel tank, the crab tank, the FW tank and the vivaquarium, as well as feeding the lizards, cats, the rest of the managerie, taking your daughter to school, basketball and to pet baby wolves and tigers and going to work (phew!) stop by and humbly accept your nomination You deserve it; you've helped a lot of folks, always with wit, charm and grace. I'm so glad you're part of the "family!"

Thank you Brooke, Doug1, Johnny, Jimbo, Alice, Mike, and everyone!

I am really overwhelmed by this as there are so many more deserving members here. I really do appreciate being thought of by all of you.
TRT is a real community, made up of real people. That we have come to know one another and formed friendships is really special. This ain't just another bulletin board! I thoroughly enjoy the time spent on the board, reading, learning, and having a good time with everybody.
That I even have an aquarium of any kind or am a member of The Reef Tank is all due to my daughter, FishGirl, whose interest in wildlife, fish and the sea got me involved in aquaria with that very first goldfish over 7 years ago. By helping her learn, I've learned so much more and been rewarded far beyond merely having a reef tank.
All of you are special to me and you are sincerely appreciated.
Dick

Congratulations Dick
Congratulations Dick. I'm not sure if you're aware of it but you led me to this board a couple years ago. Thanks.

FISHDADDY!!!! Way to go! Congrats, Dick! Thankyou for all the times you helped me with my tank problems even when the advice was for someone elses' thread. Many times the help you offered to me and others on this board has helped to educate me or at least clarify something I was still fuzzy on.

I have no doubt that FishGirl has taught you a lot, but we all know your interest in aquariums comes from working the still back in the woods.
 Congrats!!

Congratulations Dick, another Great nomination for a well-deserved recognition to you! You have always been on hand to demonstrate both patience and intelligence (and a great deal of tolerance for the occasional brusk thread) for those that post to The Reef Tank, even those that have (ever so rarely) been involved in the "near" flame or two when we've had an unruly flamer appear on the board. Your ability to smooth over even the worse of the worst potential disasters has made you a great choice for the nomination. That and an incredible link library and a memory to find them to match!!! My hat is off to you Dick!
Does this mean I have to buy the beer at the next East Coast Grizzly Bear Beer Run???
Heh! Well, lets see, we need to post that pic of the group from out meeting at your house again, Geez, both you and Doug in the same pic...

Hooray for the East Coast side! Dick, you bring honor to us. That and links, of course
I wanna sure to be there at the East Coast Grizzly Bear Beer Run
And a fine pass of the baton from Doug. Quite right on that, Johnny!
