yellow clown goby-sick


i have a yellow clown goby that has what looks like bumps all over its body,also there is a blood spot just over its eyes which looks like he is bleeding inside,what makes it worse,he is located in a reef tank and i can't catch him to give him a fresh water bath

I wish I could Brad, but if you can't catch him, there isn't much you can do for the little guy. They are about my fave small fish.

Did you just get him? Is he eating now?

Do you happen to have an anemone in your tank that could have stung him?

I have a clown goby I'm crazy about. Several times when I have been cleaning my tank and siphoning the water out I accidentally siphon him right out of the tank. Could you possibly get a hose and try and siphon him out? Just a thought.

no,i have had him from day 1-i don't have any amenones yet i guess it was a parsite...the siphone worked great-it saved his life...i really would of hate to have lost him

to update everyone-yellow goby(cliffhanger)thats what my daughter calls him,because he hanges over the edge of the LR and the corals at the top of the tank like he is the king of the tank-sorry,back to the update-he appears to being doing a lot better,his eating is alot better,there is still bumps on his body but they seem to be going down...thanks to everyone that gave advise and support,i thank you and CLIFFHANGER thanks you

is there anyway you could post a pic with the bumbs? i had a clown goby that got these. i could not get him out, mainly because i would only catch a glimps of him every now and then.

how did you help yours? did you FW did him? what did you do with him after you siphoned.
