What to feed - new Lionfish?

So I finally set-up an old tank for a Fish only Live Rock and got a awesome dwarf lionfish as the first fish. He seems pretty happy swimming all around but has not eaten since I got him 3 days ago. I've tried frozen(mysis, krill, shrimp) and live(ghost shrimp, guppies) but he has not shown any interest.

Any suggestions out there?

try 'dancing' a piece of krill on the end of a skewer in front of his face?

did you ask the LFS to demonstrate his eating before you bought him?
(its good to do that just to have a better idea if he's healthy from the get go)

Did you see him eat in the store? This is very important, especially with finicky predators. If he was not eating at all in the store, you perhaps should have left him there until he was... if he was eating, I'd offer whatever they did.

I'd try some ghost shrimp and/or comets first, just to stimulate a feeding response. Once you have him used to eating in your tank, wean him over to saltwater fare, silversides, mysis, krill etc.

I have had lions that actually ate flakes (which were intended for their tank-mates!), once they got feeding, they'd eat anything.
