I'll chime in here with my own personal experiences and observations.
Grammas (grammae?) are territorial by nature and are somewhat shy. In the wild, they'll stake out a small area, maybe a
square foot or two with one or more hiding places and then stay there, usually hovering around waiting for food to drift by.
As your's becomes more comfortable, he'll begin to spend more time out of his hole, but don't expect to see him roaming about the tank.
Great choice, btw. Certainly one of my favorites.
