Puffer help

Happy Easter TRT,

Well I need help with my new Black Spotted Dog Face Puffer. I purchased him about 3 days ago and for the first 2 days he seemed fine. Swimming around ok but not eating. Now he looks all stressed out; rapid breathing, not moving (laying on the LR) and his body looks deflated.

My water levels tested ok, I think it may be an acclimating issue or too quick of a temp change? Anyone have any similar problems or advice to save this guy?

Other tank mates; Clown Trigger, Yellow Tang, and some Chromis are fine. I've attached a photo of the Puffer on his first day in the tank.

One of my clowns is doing that, laying on rock and rapid breathing, while the other I put in at the same time is doing fine...

Whats the best way to get them de-stressed..??

Its stressed dog faces get stressed easy I lost mine due to the same symptoms

They always do good in the LFS don't they? LOL Man, I hope mine can pull through! I'm going to try some live brine shrimp tomorrow and see if he will at least take something down.

have you tried keeping the lights off for a bit? Have you checked your oxygen level? (of course all your fish would be breathing hard if this was trully the issue).
