i have two different ones now. a Siganus magnificus and a Siganus virgatus. the S. magnificus is just a nice looking fish. it eats hair algae and anything red. i got the S. virgatus to eat my razor caulerpa, which it did at the store. now that it is home it does not touch the stuff.

not entirely true. razor caulerpa seems to grow in tow different forms a high light and a low light form. the S. virgatus will munch the low light form, but is not interested at all in the high light form.
the LFS had a S. magnificus that was going to town on the bubble caulerpa.
the S. magnificus was a bully for half a day, but now they are buddies. the S. virgatus will follow the S. magnificus around.
now the whole classification for these guys is up in limbo. it seems that the Lo genus is a no show anymore and have all been moved to the Siganus genus. if you are searching of the various species you may need to do a search with both Lo and Siganus.
